Central Queens Dojo & CQ Brooks Memorial Bun-Shibu Raffle Fund Raiser
The Central Queens Dojo thanks all those who participated in our raffle drive to support the CQ Dojo & Bun-Shibus, especially the out of state & overseas Seido members. Your support and cooperation really helped to make this fund raiser a big success and touched us deeply. A special note of appreciation goes to Kaicho and Nidaime for their patience and for allowing us to extend our raffle sales to all the Dojos in the Seido Organization during the 2008 Black Belt Clinic, as well as for their donation of a prize for the students that sell the most tickets. We look forward to seeing many of you at the Central Queens Seido Dojo’s 35th Anniversary Dinner Dance on Sunday, November 9th, 2008. Special thanks to Ben Warren of the Hollywood, California Dojo for his unexpected support and assistance in soliciting students and selling several raffle ticket booklets at Honbu for us! We appreciate your support and consideration. We also extend our thanks and appreciation to all the Seido Black Belts who purchased raffles and then donated them back to the CQ Dojo/Bun-Shibu. A very special OSU & Gassho! is given to Mr. Rick Scherer of Connect-Tec, Inc. in Long Island City, NYC for his generous contribution of $120.00. We are all also very appreciative to the staff and members of the Jamaica YMCA who purchased raffles and gave their encouragement for this fund raiser.
